Jealousy and envy are one of the biggest mistakes that a person may make, as they may push to make mistakes that no one imagines, and do not forget that the first murder on earth was when Cain, the son of Adam, killed his brother Abel, which occurred because of jealousy and envy, and even today we still see that brothers may quarrel because of envy and jealousy, and there are many realistic stories that indicate this, and the following story is one of them.
A woman recounts that when she got married, her husband had a younger brother, with whom he married around the same time, and they all lived in the family home, where the father and mother lived, and the two sons also worked in their father's business.
It was the custom of that family that the son with male children would be in charge of the family after his father because it was his son who would continue the path of his father and grandfather.
The woman says that the wife of the youngest son had become pregnant before her and the whole family was happy with this pregnancy, and although she and her husband were happy that the husband's brother would have a child, she noticed a significant change in treatment between her and the wife of the youngest son.

Soon after, the wife of the eldest son got tired and when she went to the doctor she told her that she was pregnant, so joy spread throughout the house, so instead of waiting for one grandchild, the grandfather was waiting for two grandchildren to come.
Several months after the two wives became pregnant, each did an examination, and the doctor told the wife of the eldest son that she would have a son, and the wife of the youngest son also said that she would have a son.
Several months passed, but the eldest son's face felt pain before the date of delivery, and she was admitted to the hospital and the doctor decided that she should give birth early, and when she woke up from giving birth, she found her husband giving her a girl and telling her that he would name her Dunia, and the wife was happy with the girl, but she was surprised by the doctor's mistake when she told her that she would give birth to a boy.
After a while, she found her mother-in-law entering the room and asking her to carry the nephew of the brother's wife, who felt the pain of childbirth on the same day, and she gave birth to the child at about the same time and named him Adam, so the wife carried Adam, who was crying, but when she carried him, he stopped crying, the wife felt a strong love for the child, so she breastfed him, and then gave him to her mother-in-law.
After the birth of the two children, the father decided to retire from work and leave full responsibility to his children, but he assigned the young son to manage because he had given birth to a son, the eldest son was sad, but he did not tell his father about it for fear of angering him, and his sadness increased after his little brother dealt with him as if he was his worker and not his older brother.
When he complained to his father and mother, they did not believe him, but worse, they accused him of being jealous of his brother because he had a boy while he had a girl, so he decided not to talk to them about it again.
He thought and told his wife that he could not bear the way his brother came to deal with him, and that when his father died he feared that he would expel him, and he told her that he was thinking of taking advantage of his experience in trade and his knowledge of merchants and establishing his own business.
The wife told him that he could sell her gold jewelry if he wanted to, and indeed he sold his wife's gold and relied on his knowledge of some merchants and started his own business away from the family business.
Several years passed and the eldest son's business grew while the younger son's treatment of his brother worsened, and the elder brother intended to leave the family business permanently, but he feared that his father would be angry.
But suddenly the father died and what the older brother feared happened: the youngest son transferred most of the father's property to himself, and told his older brother that he either worked for him with a salary he set for him or quit work.
During that period, the two wives treated each other very well, and they were raising the two children together like brothers, until the older brother decided that he would also leave the family home and rent another house, his wife noticed that the wife of the younger brother was trying to dissuade her in every way from the idea of leaving the house, and she was so sad that she surprised the wife of the eldest son.
But the older brother was determined to leave and had already moved to a distant house, and his business had expanded, while his brother was mishandling his father's money, and he had married another woman and spent a lot of money on her.
One day he received a phone call telling him that his mother was sick and had been admitted to the hospital, so he and his wife rushed to the hospital and their daughter was in school.
At the time of discharge, the wife told her husband that she would go to pick up their daughter from school and would return to him in the hospital the next day, but when she went she could not find her and when she asked her classmates, they told her that they had not seen her since about midday.
The wife was horrified and told her husband, who asked her to go to the police because he could not leave his mother, but the police station refused to file an official report of the girl's disappearance before a full day had passed since her disappearance.
The husband told his wife that he would go to look for the girl himself, as she might have gone to one of their relatives, and asked her to come to stay with his mother, who was in a dangerous condition, and when the wife came, the mother had woken up from the coma, and she indicated to the wife as if she wanted to tell her about her daughter, but she could not speak, and then she died.
The wife became confused and sad, as she wanted to check on her daughter and did not know how she would inform her husband of the news of his mother's death, but she called him and asked him about Dunia, and he told her that he went to see his nephew Adam to ask him about Dunia, and she told him that his mother had died, and he told her that he would come immediately to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the eldest son's heart began to become suspicious, as she felt that her mother-in-law had changed children at birth because she loved her young son more than her husband and wanted him to inherit his father's place in the administration.
When the husband arrived at the hospital he told her that their daughter was with his brother's wife, immediately the wife yelled at him and told him those thoughts that had been in her mind, and asked him to bring Adam to her.
But the husband tried to calm her down and asked her to listen to him calmly, and that he would tell her the secret that his mother told him before he left her, as his wife did give birth to a boy but he died immediately after birth due to his premature birth.
His brother's wife gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, and the mother-in-law feared that her son's heart would break, so she pressured her young son's wife and told her that if the girl was left to her predecessor, she would make her husband manage his father's money.
His brother's wife agreed because the girl was going to grow up with her, but after they left the house, and after her husband married another woman, she decided to take her child back and leave for her parents' house.
His wife couldn't believe what she heard, yelled at him, and told him he was lying so she wouldn't hate his mother, but he told her he would make her confirm by DNA analysis.
Indeed, the analysis confirmed his words, but the husband tried to relieve his wife and told her that her son had preceded her to Paradise, and that she must be patient and God Almighty will compensate her for her misfortune, and indeed she got pregnant again and was keen to visit Adam and Dunia every week.
